Meet-U Vehicle
|
The MEET-U can provide a variety of services including basic
literacy training, transitional education, career exploration, work
skills, assessment testing, and computer training. Southern's new 38 foot
mobile unit provides convenient, state of the art, educational and
employment instruction opportunities for the people of southern West
Virginia. All training and educational programs are customized to meet the
specific needs of the students, clients, businesses or groups. The
MEET-U will travel throughout Southern's service district
providing on-the-job and customized workforce training along with
conventional education. Workforce training options include basic and
advanced computer skills, computer assisted design (CAD), job skills,
career interest, and career aptitude assistance. The 12 computer
stations, 2 printers, large TV/VCR, 2 small television screens,
whiteboards, sound system, and a variety of software will provide top
notch training and educational services. Comfortable seating, air
conditioning, and mobility will provide a user friendly classroom
experience.
