Southerns Student Government Associations sponsor many
activities at each campus, including dances, speakers, films, and other
events. In addition, they make recommendations to the campus and the
college regarding needs and concerns of students. Meetings are held
regularly and are open to the student body. Voting privileges extend
only to elected SGA members.
Officers include president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer,
who are elected as prescribed in the Student Government Constitution.
The Counselor at each campus serves as advisor to the respective SGA.
