Southern is committed to providing access to all necessary
services for students. One of those services is good academic advising which is
necessary to make sure that students understand their rights, responsibilities,
and student expectations. NEW STUDENTS are strongly encouraged to come to the
Advising Center or campus counselors for initial advising and development of an
educational plan. RETURNING STUDENTS who have not received an educational plan,
have changed major, or need assistance with proper course selection and
sequencing, please contact your assigned advisor or campus counselor or come to
the Advising Centers on the Logan and Williamson campuses.
