104 Arc Welding (F)
3 Semester Hours
Examines the operation of the AC transformer and DC motor
generator arc welding sets. Studies are made of welding heats,
polarities, and electrodes for use in joining various metal alloys
by the arc welding process. Involves practice of different types
of joints in the flat position with safety procedures emphasized.

275 Special Topics in Welding (O)
1-3 Semester Hours
Prerequisite: Permission of Division Chair.
Presents courses in welding which the College expects to offer
only once or occasionally in response to specific community needs.
The course may consist of seminars, specialized or individual
instruction, and/or research in an area related to welding.
